A revolver

The Normal weapon category includes the Dual Pistols, Yo-Yo, Revolver, and the mutation Lethal fingernails. These weapons are as average as they come, with no weird gimmicks, average damage and average cost. Normal weapons are perfect for newer players learning the ins and outs of the combat system, as well as for the discerning gangster with no time for silly doo-dads or knick-knacks. Normal weapons were some of the first to be added to the game; the revolver being one of the more iconic early ENDLESS WAR weapons.

Dual Pistols

The Dual Pistols are as simple as a weapon can be in NLACakaNM - but that certainly does not make them a bad choice. Despite being guns these babies never run out of ammunition, allowing you to !kill all day and night without a single !reload. Prior to the weapon simplification update, Dual Pistols use to shoot two shots, akin to a simple version of the Multiple-Hit weapons.

They can be obtained from the Dojo for a paltry sum of 10,000 slime.

Revolver

The Revolver is about as complex as a Normal weapon can get. By this of course I mean it has gangsters engage with one simple mechanic - ammunition. To make up for the six bullets you have, the cost for each attack from the revolver has been reduced. In order to refill your supply of "hot lead" make sure to !reload. No-one wants to be caught with their pants down. Except maybe coomers. Revolvers have classically been the default weapon, a trusty sidekick for any murderous gangster looking to bust a cap in some poor Juvenile.

Yo-Yo

In modern ENDLESS WAR, the Yo-Yo is thematically a favorite of many gangsters. Mechanically, it functions identically to the Dual Pistols - but there's just something about the idea of clobbering a bastard to death with a kid's toy that has these slime-crazed psychos excited. Previously, the Yo-Yo used to increase the damage it dealt with each hit, scaling infinitely until the user could one-shot a kingpin. The damage modifier would reset upon the user's death, or if they missed an attack. Whichever happened first.

The Yo-Yo can be obtained from the Dojo for a paltry sum of 10,000 slime.

Lethal Fingernails

You know two paragraphs ago when I said the revolver was the most complex a Normal weapon got? I lied. The Lethal Fingernails are certainly the most complex. Obtained through the usage of the mutation of the same name, gangsters can ensure that they are never without an instrument of harm. Assuming the player has no weapon equipped and the requisite mutation, they can lash out with their fingernails. The weapon currently has a bizarre behavior in which it will ignore almost all buffs to the player, and actually has some strange stats to boot. Presumably this will be fixed by a dev at some point, but who can guess?

The Lethal Fingernails can be obtained with the Lethal Fingernails mutation, of which you can !graft at the Clinic for 50,000 slime.

Combat Knife

War... Endless War... has changed.
